garden moment # 1: above the moon

the contrail guts the mackerel
above the moon
and then the plane falls out of the sky
and the swallow dances
until the mackerel disappears

branches flick the light
of the room where the lady paints her windowframe
and the washingline of multicoloured barbs
deadhead the mysterious weeds
and then the moon falls
- into a satellite dish
